stained glass progression

With the leading done the painting begins
I am having a great fun with this office window.
I am loving the transparent view of the window with the light coming through.
It is great and there will be one more picture to enter of the finished product. It will take a few more weeks.
I wish I had the pic of this bird bath when I picked it up on the side of the road. It was brown beat up and in three pieces.
Now here it is, all painted and spiffed up with flat marbles to make it sparkle. With the addition of the top of a ceramic box to cover the well where the pump would go. The addition of a pump is always an option.

Light up the garden

Use up the old glassware thats hanging around. mount on a pole in the yard in the sun so the led light soaks up the rays. Pretty both during the day and night.

finished flat marble window

Yea! here it is all done. I know that the pic's are backwards but here they all are and I will try to get the next one's in the right order. I just love it. This is the abstract "Aura Window" on the north east end of the house.

flat marble window

Here it is almost done. I have not been much on abstract work so this is a new thing for me.
The hard part is to get just the right amount of glue on the marble and the right temp. to keep the glass.
It is a slow job. only 4 or 5 inches can be done at a time or the weight will push them right off the window.
Flat marble round-up collecting Flat marbles from every where friends have given me some great colors.
