jewelry holder

When your rake handle breaks, spray paint the rake with enamel and put a screw through the hole. Use the fingers to hang necklace. I put mine on the back of the bedroom door.

Art Desk and Chair

This was a full hutch desk with a fold down desk top. I need an art table/desk that works for sewing and bigger projects. So I cut off the hutch leaving a gap for paper storage, then attached the headboard from a poster bed. The antique wood gives it the look I like. I also replaced the knobs. The desk is not a standard height. the top sits 34 1/2 inches from the floor which makes it a nice height to stand and work at.

The 34 1/2 inch height is great to stand by but it makes it hard to find the right size chair. This chair was given to me and with the addition of wheels it is the perfect size. Nice leather seat is comfortable.

Floor Cloth

I got a box of furniture swatches from a furniture store. I sewed them together and love the way it looked. once again I just piled them up and pulled out 5 at a time sewed them together in strips and then put it down.

I hung it up on the A frame. Added 75% modge podge and 25% water. and brushed it on. 2 hours later it was back down in the artroom.

DeskMat

I bought a poster frame, clear plastic top and thin wood back. I found a deck of taro cards and used the ones with names on them. 36 cards shuffled and dealt out into piles of 9 cards and glued them down without looking at them. I love the way they came out.

Dog seat cover

This seat cover hooks to the headrests in the front seat and the other end hooks to the headrests of the back seat. It is made of durable fabric and keeps the dog from falling off the seat. It is great.
