Have a pedestal that is broken on the edges?

A nieghbor of ours put out this pedestal the edges where broken/chipped and the top glass piece was gone.
So I took it home and flipped it over. It was hollow so I stuffed the bottom of it with some crushed up cans to lighten up the weight of it. then filled it with good dirt and some spinach seeds. It grew great. I need to hose off the sand from the outside where the rain has splashed the dirt on the side. But the Spinach is GREAT!!
