Witch One, she has a spider in one hand and candy corn for her to eat in the other. How sweet is that. Oh look she dropped one of the candies.

GO WITH NATURAL PEST CONTROL.
I LOOK FORWARD TO THE GREEN THUMB FEST. EVERY YEAR.
I believe pest control is better done by professionals so I go to "green thumb" to enlist the help of Lady Bugs.
Best thing ever for citrus and the oranges are all the better for it.

What to do with all of that Basil we grew.
Well I put on many ways and Ideas of how to grow Basil. So now what to do with all of that Basil? Here is a great Idea.
You can de-hydrate it and crush it to put into nice glass containers for gifts but here is another idea.
BASIL SALT
1. wash and dry basil.
2. cut leaves into small pieces and stems.
3. add 1/2- 3/4 Cup Kosher or Sea Salt to your food processor and about 1 Cup of packed fresh basil.
4. pulse and stir. Keep a little coarse.
5. once desired consistency, pour the salt mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment.
6. Bake at 275 degrees for 30-40 min. to remove moisture.
7. Let cool and then put into glass jars. keep cool and dry.

Great Planters for herbs
I want to share these great containers with you. Thea had this great idea of using milk cartons or orange juice cartons as planters instead of sending them to the dump. They are wonderful. Take your empty carton and cut the bottom off to the height you want your planter to be.

Lobster Trap
Online they are 90-125$ That is a large added cost to an already costly event. So I was asked to see if I could make one.
Going out into my shed that I call fabrication, where I store everything I find that I may use some day I have 24 ft of molding. The project took 48 ft of molding. so now I know when I see stray molding on the side of the road I will gather it up.
I can make these little gems and sell them online for half of the price with a declaimer, can not be used to catch Lobster or Crabs. This is for decoration only.
I had great fun doing this project.
